JWB Welcome Letter

Dear J. Watson Bailey Middle School Families,

Welcome back to another exciting school year!  We hope you had a wonderful summer filled with fun and relaxation. As we prepare for the new academic year, we are thrilled to share that many changes have taken place over the summer and are continuing up until the very end. Our school is ready to welcome students back with a brand-new heating system, bright new windows, and improved lighting throughout our 7^th and 8^th grade wings.

As a reminder, school officially starts on September 3, with the school day beginning at 7:55 am.  We appreciate your patience during the first few days as we work out transportation logistics and families adjust to new routines.

For those dropping off students, please ensure that all drop-offs are made at the G door, located at the back of the school. Dropping off students at the baseball field is not permitted. Pick-up will also take place in the back, starting at 2:19. We kindly ask that you bring your patience during pick-up times. To ensure a smooth and safe process for everyone, please utilize the entire parking lot.  Remember if you are first in line, you will be the furthest from the school, which is near the stop sign as you are leaving the parking lot, our staff will escort your children safely to your car.
